Hi, my name is James and I'm a buy and hold investor who lives and invests in Lincoln, Nebraska.
My wife and I have owned a triplex in the College View neighborhood for a couple years and are about to close on a SFR in the Near South neighborhood later this month.
My wife is a nurse and I'm a pilot. Our flexible schedules allow us to manage our property ourselves. We're looking to expand at a pace of about one property per year going forward. Most of our experience and interest lies in landlording, but I'd be open to working with other investors to fund deals as a private lender in the future.
I've gained a lot of great insights through reading the BP blog posts for the past year. I'd love to meet up with other investors in Lincoln. Some forum searches lead me to the monthly meeting at Grata Lounge the second Monday of each month. Is that still happening? Will anyone be there this week? I'll try to be there and say hello.
