Newbie in Real Estate Industry

Hello everyone, My name is Montrell and I recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in biochemistry. I will be going to pharmacy school soon then I plan on working as a full time pharmacist. In the mean time I want to get involved in wholesaling real estate properties. Even though I want to be a pharmacist I also want to be an entrepreneur.I am a quick learning, motivated young man who looks to thrive in this industry with the right amount of help. I have been reading books and forums but I know that you can only learn so much from online information. If anyone has any tips or want to lend a helping hand it would be greatly appreciated. I am located in the Murfreesboro/Nashville area at the moment and looking for connections all across the nation! Thanks and everyone have a blessed day! - Montrell Taylor

Good evening Montrell,

Now that you've got a decent amount of foundational knowledge on REI, I would begin to take action. Attending local REIA meetings is a great way to start getting your name out there and meet like-minded people in your area.

Before anyone can help you, you'll need to start mentioning some of your goals. Not just real estate goals, but life goals... what motivates you? What do you want to accomplish?

Answering these questions will help you figure out your next few moves so that you move towards those goals.

That being said, most people get into REI to ultimately be able to live off their passive income. Two great ways to start are by wholesaling and house hacking.

Keep us posted with your progress and don't hesitate to ask questions.

Best of luck to you!

-Abel
