Aspiring Investor/Student From Oklahoma!

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I've been lurking on this site for a few months and finally decided to start interacting with the community. I am 24 years old and live south of the OKC area. I became inspired and excited about real estate when I was 19. At the time I was hustling in a Multi-Level-Marketing company. It was a short stint but I will never forget a real estate investor in the business who mentored me and recommended I read Rich Dad Poor Dad. Very cliche and typical beginning but I read the book in a couple days and wanted to learn more about real estate but didn't know where to begin.

A couple years ago I stumbled upon bigger pockets on YouTube while researching what wholesaling was and instantly became hooked on the podcasts. I have since taken the steps to build credit and place myself in a position where as of this year I can save a good chunk of money monthly to attain a down payment on my first property. While I don't know what that deal will look like or when it will happen, I am highly interested in purchasing a multi-family using the BRRR strategy while also occupying one unit. And so the journey begins.

I'm looking forward to talking to members on the site and learning all I can to help myself and the next guy.

Cheers!
