Hello BP!
My name is Pat Teten and I am an active duty Naval Officer currently in the Hampton Roads area. After returning from my last deployment I read the “Rich Dad Poor Dad” book. Reading this book, along with my own research, has been an enlightening experience in showing me the opportunities of investing, specifically in real estate. Since then, I have been learning about real estate by listening to the BP podcast; this has been a great wealth of knowledge.
I am currently looking to continue to build my education, along with networking with local investors. My goal for the year of 2017 is to purchase my first real estate investment. I’m looking forward to meeting and learning from everyone. Thanks in advance for everything.

Welcome Pat! If you are interested in learning more, I suggest doing a search for real estate clubs in the area. TRIG and PREIA are two of the local clubs. Also, if you are looking for another book...suggest "4 hour work week". Good luck!
