Newbie to DFW investing

Hello we are new to the DFW real estate investing area. We previously held a rental in Austin which we bought for 165K in 2009 and hope to sell for 230K by March. We would like to invest in some properties in the DFW area as it seems Austin has not been as good to us. We like the Arlington area but are open to learning and any advice.

If you are in Fort Worth, I would look around the 76133 zip  in the south- that is a good area for rentals.  Or Watauga and Saginaw in the north.  If you want lower prices, go a little farther south to Cleburne and Burleson.  Depends on your price point of course.
