I think I'm an 'advanced newbie', if there is such a thing. My father-in-law and brother-in-law both have millions of dollars of residential real estate that I have been helping them with for 15+ years. I was also an accidental landlord for a few years when I found myself upside down on a house and the Navy needed me to relocate to another state.

I am an Enrolled Agent and have my own tax business in Virginia Beach. I see a lot of 'accidental landlords' in my tax office, and I am interested in learning more ways to help them and make the most of their real estate investments.

I look forward to lots of discussions!
