Jacksonville/Orange Park/Fleming Island, Florida
Hello BiggerPockets!!
My name is Joddie McClain, and I am a newbie to real estate and real estate investments. I currently reside in Fleming Island, Fl and am looking for people to network with in the Jacksonville/Orange Park area. As of now, I am working on obtaining my real estate license so that I learn the ins/outs of real estate before finally making my first investment (which will be a rental property). I have yet to join my local REIA but have plans on it as soon as the school year is finished in a month. My current plans include becoming an agent, working full-time in the summer, part-time during the school year (teacher), and invest (60-87500 town home or single) in my first rental (December) that will provide at least $100-200 cash flow a month. My long term goals include acquiring, at least, 1 property a year.
I am listening to podcasts and reading forums everyday and have gained so many valuable insights!
