New investor in the DMV area
Hello all, My name is Germell Johnson and I currently live in the DMV area. I'm new and found out about BiggerPockets while searching the internet trying to learn as much as possible about REI. As much as I'd like to run and get my feet wet, I understand that I'm currently in the learning stage and trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible. I also understand that there's no better form of education than experience, so I don't want to over analyze and never take action either. I've been in the military for a little of 20 years so I'm looking to retire soon and plan to work only until I have enough experience to become a full time investor. My focus is to find a mentor to coach me through the process and network with other investors and brokers to find the best deals and make great relationships.
