Hello Everyone,
My name is Amber I am 25 and signed up on bigger pockets and l listen to the podcast just about everyday. I listen to it while I'm driving to work instead of the radio, I listen to it when I walk my dog. Lets just say it is a part of my lifestyle now. The reason why I titled this New but not really is because I signed up but then never used my profile but I am truly ready now.
I need this for my family and I to be able to do the things that we enjoy when we want to and how we want to do it .
I was intrigued with Real Estate the stereo typical way. A Guru and watching HGTV. I think it was around November of 2016 that I was introduced to Real Estate more in detail. However for a while I was thinking without the Guru how am I going to get anywhere with this and then I met someone at my job that I would like to consider a mentor. He told me about this sight and told me to read two books "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "The E-Myth".
I got those books, read them, and now I am on my way to getting my Real Estate License. I am in the Houston, Texas area and I am ready to learn and dig into Real Estate.
Thank you everyone for spending your time reading this and best wishes to everyone and their endeavors.

Welcome to BP!!!! Best suggestion I have is be patient and do the right deal, you may have to pass on a couple hundred houses in this market to find the right one.
I would highly recommend making it out to a few investor meetups.
Best of luck to you!!!

Welcome @Amber Scott ! I'm kind of new and not. I started out learning the fundamentals, decreasing the fear of failing, and finally became active this year. Good luck to you!
