Newbie from San Diego

Hi BP! Been a podcast listener and now finally joining the forums. Newbie, so no rental units yet (although i own the house I live in) Myself: tech guy looking to add real estate to a stock heavy portfolio. My current thinking is I'll do a ton of homework now while I wait for the market to cool down. That way I'll be more knowledge and maybe get a better deal in a year or two. I'm big on the numbers so everything I do will be compared to the opportunity cost of having the money in other assets like stocks. Looking to surround myself with both experienced and newbie folks excited about real estate. Hoping to meet people both online and in person.
