Utah Newbie with Commitment

Hey everyone! I am new to BP and real estate! I am looking to purchase and find a partner who knows a lot more than me to go in together or at least someone who can teach me one on one. I am looking to get into a "owner occupied" home where my wife and I can rent part the house out here in northern Utah near Weber state and only 20min from slc. Any tips or interest from a mentor / teacher would be AWESOME!!! Thanks!

@Dylan Bushaw I am not a full time Investor, but I have purchased and still own a few properties and can maybe help in a few area's I am in Brigham city area... but work In Ogden and went to school at Weber State .... are you looking for a multifamily to owner occupy? or just a SFR with instant equity?
