New Investor from Northeast Kansas

I'm a new BP member from Topeka, Kansas.  I'm looking to invest in the Manhattan, Lawrence, Topeka, Emporia, and Kansas City areas.

I've been interested in all things real estate for quite some time, and due to changes in life, I'm ready to act on getting into real estate investment.

I am a full-time firefighter, and I came across BP through a business podcast search on the Podcast Addict android app.  Ironically, the first BP podcast I listened to was @jeffwallenius, who also happens to be a firefighter.  

My goal is to end up with smaller, 8-10 door, multi-family units by way of a few flips, SFH buy-hold, and using 1031 exchanges
