Hi everyone. My name is Vlad, and I’m a newbie on the REI in Boston, Massachusetts. Trying to figure out, which strategy to choose? I prefer buy and hold(for rent). Which area in Massachusetts is better for this strategy in your opinion? I will very appreciate any advice and if there are any newbie or experienced RE investors in Boston, who interested, I would glad to meet somewhere and talk about today’s economy and RE market. Thank you in advance.

Vlad.
Good luck with your search.
Boston is a very tight market in terms of the rental income. I'd also suggest you look at investing out of state.

Hi @Vladimir Kononenko , it might be a good idea for you to attend your local REIA to talk to local investors about what's best to do in MA.

@Vladimir Kononenko I'd be happy to meet for coffee if you would like. I've already helped several BP'ers with both the purchase and sale of properties and I know the Boston-south market very well.

Welcome to BP @Vladimir Kononenko ! Where abouts in Boston are you? I went to college a few minutes from fenway.
Like others mentioned, if the Boston market feels hot, it's because it is!

@Vladimir Kononenko Welcome to BP! If you prefer buy and hold, I would suggest looking at properties a certain radius outside the city for deals. Furthermore, I would focus on distressed properties that you can BRRR. That's essentially what I'm doing right now, while flipping anything that doesn't make sense to hold.
