Georgia Property Tax Liens
I have been reading many forums here and I just have yet to run across the right answer I am looking for, hopefully someone and/or everyone can assist! I am about to start purchasing liens in DeKalb County, Georgia. I understand that each state and city may operate similar, yet they have their specific laws also. I need more information which I can not find online exactly.
1. What exactly do I need to research prior to purchasing? Is it illegal to contact the homeowners before purchase?
2. What people or companies have preceding over the property? i.e. bankruptcies, family, etc. How am I able to know if anyone has preceding?
3. What is the biggest issue to avoid through this entire process? !!!!!
