Hello all! My name is Matthew edelen and I am new to REI and am excited to get started. I have been reading, listening to podcasts, and watching real estate investing videos a lot for the past few weeks. I found a common theme by doing just that about generational or legacy wealth creation. The theme is that real estate investing is a vehicle that can help a person get that wealth in a matter of a few years. I have worked at the Newport News shipyard for over 11 years working on amazing naval ships and as enjoyable and interesting as a job that this is, I haven't been able to create financial freedom that I desire from just working here. I am always looking for people that are immersed in this industry that I could look to as a mentor and learn from. Thanks in advance!
