Hello BiggerPockets community,
I came across BiggerPockets a few nights ago. I was shocked at the wealth of information and the way it was being shared. For a newbie like myself in the real estate game I feel a little better knowing all of you are out there.
I am a licensed builder here in Michigan. We do home additions, kitchen and bath remodeling. I deal with homowners on a day to day basis. We are one of the top contractors on Angie's List, which is a homeowner driven site with the emphasis on reviews from other homeowners. I am really good at what I do. It has provided for my family. Did I say I deal with homeowners on a day to day basis? Those people will wear you out!!
I have always been interested in real estate, and even more in taking the property no one wants and turning it into that gem. I'm currently working my own deal for my own home with the goal of purchasing the property and securing funding to do a complete top of rehab to the property.
