Newbie in Honolulu, HI
My name is Nicholas Monge, originally from Brunswick, Maine. I'm a "Cyber Analyst" currently living in Honolulu, HI. A little background: I've bought two SFH with no intentions of ever becoming a real estate investor. I have a home in San Antonio, TX (bought 2013) and Baltimore, MD (bought 2014). Both rented and cash flowing really well. I've recently learned more about real estate investing and figured I had a good foundation of knowledge. I've listened to many of the podcasts, read forums, and currently reading a couple of books.
Also to note, I'm taking a real estate course and will be a licensed agent at the end of March. I figured I'd go ahead and get licensed just for the experience and future ease and access to MLS.
My goals:
- I have a friend here on the island, that's into flipping homes. I'd love to get into flipping homes here in Oahu.
- Secondly, I'd like to start buying Multi- family homes back home in Maine, preferably southern region (Brunswick, Bath, Portland).
