Hello to all in the BP Community!!
My name is Jason Lugue and live in Rockland County, New York. I've come across BP after researching different avenues of investing outside of retirement. After lurking around, I’ve decided to introduce myself and get more involved with the community.
Currently, I am working full time as a field engineer while my wife is working on finishing her degree in nursing. We have 3 boys and have moved in with my retired parents while my wife finishes. About 2 years ago we owned a house but ended up selling due to a failing school district. We sold our property and pretty much broke even.
I am now focusing on becoming an active real estate investor. Once our finances are in order, I’d like to find a multi-family in our school district and house hack. I’ve been reading recommended books, podcasts, forums, webinars and looking for local meetups.
Our initial goal to land our first property and learn to be an investor and a landlord. Our ultimate goal to retire early and be able to spend time traveling with my family.
