Hello Everyone, I really enjoy this site and look forward to my time here.

My name is Shawn, and I am developing my real estate investment business after years of studying and researching real estate investing. Although I am all for education, the time has come for me to actually do something to advance my business.

I've joined my local REIA, and I have made a few really good contacts in just attending a few meetings. I am in the process of registering as an LLC in my state, and developing a website. I am also currently working on my strategy for targeting pre-foreclosures and foreclosures via direct mail campaigns.

As for goals, my immediate goal is to successfully complete my first investment. As time goes on I would like to start by wholesaling properties in a manner that is truly beneficial to all parties involved. I plan on developing an ethical business. As I gain experience (and a little cash), I am going to venture in to rehabbing and/or buying and leasing. My long term goal is to buy and lease and hold for 10-15+years.

I'm 33, I have a family and unfortunately was laid off recently. I am not looking at a quick payday or trying to pursue some pitch I heard on an infomercial, I am sincerely interested in developing a long term profitable business, and a way of life that I can pass on to my sons. Hopefully, they will be able to learn and put themselves in a position to take advantage of the education at a very early age.

Thanks for stopping in to hear a little about me. I look forward to networking and continuing to learn from the great posts, articles, and blogs I read here.

Thank you,
