Is wholeselling the best way to start?

Hello All,

I am just getting into real estate investing. My wife, I and our 2 kids live in Charlotte, NC. We moved around a few places after me getting out of the military. I have always been intrigued by real estate and am jumping into this now. I have a full time job but the goal is to get to a place where I can do this full time. I have only put out a few offers on houses so far, trying the wholeselling route because of not having the money to purchase rentals myself. The goal is to have rentals for active income but baby steps, right?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! I love to learn, and realize that there is not just 1 way to do this, so I would love to take in all the information that someone is willing to give. Thank you all in advance.

Welcome to BP @Michael Deatrick! Wholesaling contracts to make money to buy rentals is a great strategy. Good luck in your REI journey
