Newbie from Toronto Ontario

Hi Everyone,

I am an aspiring investor from Toronto. I'm mainly interested in the buy and hold strategy, with a short term goal of buying my first property in the next few months.

To get ready to do that I am trying to learn anything and everything I can on real estate. This has mostly been through listening to the BP podcast and reading a few book/articles.

Currently I'm priced out of my local market, but am interested in investing elsewhere in southern Ontario. So I've been trying to focus on learning about long distance investing and more about the other southern Ontario markets outside of the GTA.

So far I've mostly been looking at markets in western Ontario, specifically the Windsor area. I'd love to connect with any investors, realtors, contractors, property managers in the region!

Thanks!

Mike

Hey @Michael Panjvani you're definitely in the right place. You'll definitely want to link up with local investors no matter what market you're in. The podcast will be good inspiration, maybe not always directly relevant, but certainly will be valuable as well.
