Introduction/Looking for first investment!

Riley Brown
Posted

Hey everyone,

I’m 21 years old and I’m from Seattle, Washington! I absolutely love Real Estate and want to get started as soon as possible. I have a sales based internship this summer, and I am heavily considering being a RE agent after college. I will be working this year as much as possible and will save all my money. I've been reading every RE investing book I can get my hands on, but really want to get my hands dirty and take action. I thought it would be cool to ask this community what their thoughts are on a first investment. I'd love to hear ideas!

Thanks!

Welcome to the site Riley. Starting early, I dig it. I got my 1st house at 21 years old as well. Getting licensed is also a great idea, also what I did. I am proud to say that now at 30 years old now my financial future is pretty well solidified. We're running a $50M+ portfolio now, it all started with that 1 house back when I was 21. Without getting my Real Estate License & such an early start none of it would have been possible.

Again welcome aboard & I'd imagine i'll see you around the forums as you'll wanna become very active around here. Once you become an agent, investor & build up your personal brand around here on Bigger Pockets the networking & opportunities that will come your way will shock you. 💸💸💸
