Birmingham - First Time Buyer - Independent Inspection?

Question

I am currently making my first Turnkey property purchase.  Based on some horror stories I have read, I believe I should get an independent inspection.  I feel confident with the turnkey provider, Spartan Invest, but I don't want to cut corners.  Does anyone know of a good inspection company in Birmingham, Alabama?

Spartan does a quality renovation. Any of the inspectors Mark mentioned are more than capable if you feel you need to have an inspection prior to closing on the property.

My personal home used to be on a septic system, in a different section of Jefferson County. I used Meeks Environmental Service. They are actually headquartered in Bessemer, and may have done the clean out in the past for that  property. You can ask them about a septic tank system inspection. # is on website.
