Newbie from Seattle, Washington

Hello BP!

I'm Justin Lee and I'm a newbie from Emerald City - Seattle, Washington. Unfortunately, I don't think I afford any of the properties around my area :( But I'm excited nonetheless! I'm looking into remote real estate investing. I started visiting local REI meetups two months ago and someone suggested I check out Bigger Pockets. Since then I've been reading books and diving into podcasts!

My background is in software engineering and I recently started my own software consulting/development company to do side gig. I'm hoping to find investment in states such as Maryland, Alabama, and West Virginia.

Anyone in Seattle do long distance real estate investing?

@Justin Lee Welcome! I'm new here as well, not from WA though!

I'm going to be buying my first property in November of this year. I'm looking out of state right now and trying to do turnkey. I'm doing tons of research and am happy to share info with you as I narrow down my search and find a good provider/area.
