Newbee from San Antonio

Hi Everyone!

Im Awais, early 40s, total REI Newbee from San Antonio.

I work 2+ jobs as an MD.

Tired of being an expensive labor.

Want my financial independence, so I can sit back and enjoy life a little, spend time with my young kids and finally take care of patients at a slower pace, because I would love to and not for earning money!

Main interest in rental properties to make passive income eventually replace my W2 income, hopefully within 10 years.

Been reading past weeks at different places, bought the biggerpockets book at amazon and from there found out about this site.

I've been listening to the podcasts past week, while driving back and forth from work.

I immediately see that, getting a cash on cash of 12% locally in San Antonio is not easy on turnkey.

What would be the best way to get into rentals, still working 2+ full time jobs AND making it big eventually replace my salary in 10 years?

I have some reserves to jump start somewhat bigger. And I know if I just start with a 100K SFH, I will not reach replacement goal in 10 years, esp knowing that one may not have more than 10 mortgages at one time( if this is true)

I don't even know what I just said above is even correct.

I am a persistent go getter and WILL do what it takes to get to my goal in an ethical way.

Please guide !!

Thank you.

Awais

Awais Sheikh it’s not as hard as you may think. We have a few investors that have acquired 6-9 properties within a 14 month period with a decent W2 job. Shoot me a PM and let’s talk.
