Newbie, looking to House Hack

Marla McNear
Posted

Hi everyone, my name is Marla. I'm new to BP, I live in Greensboro, NC.  I joined BP after reading @Brandon Turner 's books Investing in Real Estate with No Money Down and Rental Property Investing. I am currently in the renting market and the idea of "house hacking" is extremely appealing for my first property.

I just started my search and wanted to connect with other investors in the area that can offer helpful advice.

Thanks in advance!

The best advice is to buy something where you want to live, and do the math properly when calculating expenses.  The majority of the rest you will only really learn by going through the process.
