24 and looking to get into the game

Hello - I am 24 years old and have some money that I want to invest and start my portfolio. I am curious to hear about others experiences in starting out. Did you all pick a niche right from the beginning or was it a learning process? I would like to start with a duplex and build from there but want to know some of your thoughts? Thanks!

Hey John. So everyone is different when it comes where to start. I started as a wholesaler and am now a buy and hold guy that uses creative financing to obtain properties. I'd suggest researching the different types of investing methods and then choosing one that interests you the most and mastering it. Once you master it move on to the next one and slowly build from there.
