New member in Jacksonville, NC

Hello everyone!

I am a new member to to BiggerPockets community in Jacksonville, NC. Though only here temporarily, I am trying my hand out at real estate investing. I spend most of my time as an Active Duty Pilot, but when I have free time, I have been looking for any suitable properties to start out with and any community functions with like minded individuals. Being fairly new to the area, I have not yet met anyone and have only come across one property that caught my eye.

I am open to all kinds of real estate investing, but the idea of the first buy, multiplex house hack has my interest at the moment. If there is anyone in the Jacksonville / Wilmington NC area, I would be thrilled to meet them and swap war stories.

I just recently got into investing in the area as well and I’m in the middle of my first flip. Im active duty on the air station actually and run a handy man and renovation business.
