Hello everyone, new member here from Sedro Woolley, Washington.   I am located about 90 minutes north of Seattle.  My wife and I have been doing a bit of real estate investing for the past 10 years.  We have been ramping up our fix and flip operation and have 5 projects currently in the works.  My day job is partner in an insurance and tax accounting firm.

I am slowly learning that I can't do it all and am hiring out more work on each project we do.  I am looking forward to learning and contributing here on the forums.  The Bigger Pockets Podcast is great and I have listened to over 200 of them so far.

Hi @Joshua Top

Thanks for posting on the forums and introducing yourself! All the best in your journey, and I hope that you continue to learn and grow through BP. It has been so instrumental in our investing journey, and in my growth as a real estate agent. Be sure to plug into your local BP community through meet-ups and investment groups. Welcome!

Hi @Joshua Top !  I missed this on vacation, so I wanted to drop in and say hi.  Sedro is such a wonderful area, and its awesome to see how many other investors are in the area.  Unfortunately you just missed our monthly RE group meeting yesterday, but we'll have another one on the 30th next month.  Let me know if you want to the meeting info.

On the investing side, I'd love to talk to you about how you've ramped up your operations.  I'm just finishing up my own flip and i'm looking forward to the next one.

@Joshua Top welcome! I just moved from the Seattle area in November and am glad to see so many people joining from Washington State. I’m not familiar with the area that you are from, but it sounds like you are on your way to greatness :) let me know if you have any questions!

@Joshua Top, welcome to the forum. I have been pretty active in the Sedro Woolley area as a RE Broker over the past two months. Great area for growth over the next few years.

Hey @Joshua Top !

I'm a Washington invester as well!

Nice to meet you.

Shoot me a message if you have any questions or want to talk about anything!

I am a broker (realtor) in Washington State and could help you look for deals down the road if you'd like.

Can't wait to hear from you!

Thanks,

@Aaron Nelson We have bought 14 properties so far, 12 in Sedro Woolley, 2 in Burlington.  Next one will be in Bay View.  We plan to stick with Skagit County, plenty of work here in the valley.  We are in a good spot, between Seattle and Bellingham.

@Joshua Top Great to meet you and welcome to BP. This site is full of great investors that are willing share their knowledge and advice. I have invested on and off over the last 12 years, but most of my time is spent helping other investors close on the deals they need to take down or refinance. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help.

Hello! @Joshua Top

Welcome to BP, and congratulations on making the decision to invest in your future via real estate.

I have written a few blog posts that may help you get started here on BP, and with your investing. Please click on the links, give them a read, and share your thoughts in the comments.

First is a post that I feel will help not get overwhelmed with the amount of info that is here on BP:

The second is a post that will help get you focused with your real estate investing goals:

The last one is a post that will help you choose an “investor friendly” real estate agent. There are many agents out there, but it’s important to choose the right one.

I love answering questions if you have any! Good Luck :)
