Newbie REI from Los Angeles
Hello BP Community!
I am relatively new to real estate investing and am looking to network and gather as much information as I can. I have been reading through the BP forums for a couple of weeks now, and the information shared on here has been very helpful thus far!
I currently reside in Los Angeles, but was born and raised in the Midwest. I recently made the decision that my day job as an engineer is not what I want for the rest of my life, and with that I decided to take action in order to jump start my journey to financial freedom!

@Jeremy Mims welcome to BP. This is a great group to learn from. I also reside in LA (near Aerospace Corp in El Segundo) and am an engineer. I believe you are on the right path looking for other (possibly more passive) means of income outside of your day job, especially if you want to do something else in the future. My wife and I have our condo here in CA and have started investing out of state, and both of us are Realtors as well. Feel free to reach out if you ever want guidance on the local market.
