Mississippi Investor Intro Post

Hi BP community,

I'm relatively new to this online community and to active real estate investing in general. I passively own a few properties in Jackson, Mississippi. My strategy is buy-and-hold rental single-family homes (though opportunistically multi-families) focusing on cash flow and cash on cash returns.

I'm from the Jackson, MS metro area, but I'm based abroad for work. My nuclear family's still in Jackson, so I visit at least 3x a year. Does anyone have any good recommendations in the Madison (primary) and Rankin (secondary) county areas for real estate agents (that have worked with real estate investors), property management companies, and contractors / handymen? @Jay Hinrichs would love to hear your perspective having lived in Madison as I recently listened to podcast #197.

I'm a JSU professor currently spending a semester in California taking care of my mother.
