Hello everyone in BP. I am a newbie to real estate investing. I have owned a few homes in my travels while serving in the US Air Force. I did rent one out for a while using a property manager (more so out of necessity because of my military move). According to the property manager, I had the world’s best tenants. According to the neighbors and what I found after they departed, not so much.

I recently attended a retirement seminar and had my eyes opened to a world I had not thought of, so I started researching. I travel often for work and have plenty of time to listen to podcast while traveling. I listen to the 6 hr. “Rich Dad Poor Dad” book on YouTube a couple of weeks ago. I love the way Robert Kiyosaki thinks. While searching for other podcasts, I found BP. I can’t get enough of the BP podcasts, information and tools. I have been listening to a couple of the BP podcast every day now.

I am now looking for steady rental property and possibly some Airbnb’s down the road. I became a BP Pro and have been practicing with the calculators, along with reading and listening to their books.

Like most, I am nervous about pulling the trigger, but I know practicing with the calculators and focusing on one area will ease the nerves a little. When I find the property that seems right for me, I will make my move.

I am happy and excited to be part of this great community.

Thanks everyone.
