Hey everyone!

My name is Matt and I am a 24 year old engineer living in Dayton, Ohio! Given that I am looking for a way to make my spare time constructive, build a side business, and want to invest, buying and holding seems like a great option. I am currently paying off my student loans, and will be for the next 2 years. In the meantime, I have commited myself to education and networking in order to ready myself for investing. After this grace period is over, I will likely use an FHA (considering I will have less money for a down payment) loan to house hack.

Because I would be living in one unit, my first property would likly be purchased in Dayton, but eventually, I would like to expand to Cincinnati and Columbus.

If anyone is from around the area, I would love to hear your advice and experience!

Welcome to the site Matt. I got my start in the biz back in 09 with an FHA funded house hack. Today I am running a $50M+ portfolio, so I can personally attest that it's a great way to break into the game. Good luck to you my man.
