Bay Area NorCal newbie

John Whittington
Posted

Hello,

I have been interested in real estate investing for 20 years and have not pulled the trigger. I have attended a few guru seminars and have read a few Kiyosaki books but either out of fear or procrastination or both.....I have yet to pull the trigger on anything. I am truly a newbie and have to start today at ground zero. Tonight I purchased Brandon Turners book, "Rental Property Investing" and created an account here at BP. Looking forward to a new chapter in my life unrelated to my previous career.

@John Whittington my story is similar, down to the Bay area location.  I actually went one step farther and spent a small fortune on a Kiyosaki seminar back in 2004.  It was a great experience, but I let life get in the way of taking action, much to my current regret.  No more waiting!

Just closed on our first SFH deal (out-of-state) and know that it will build momentum and experience toward bigger things. Would love to touch base with you some time. Welcome!
