Good day, my name is Gavin Watson. I live in Ellicott City, MD (just outside Baltimore). I've recently retired from a fun, challenging executive position in a large corporation. While I have some experience in real estate; I'm certainly new to the idea of taking a focused approach in RE investing. My initial goals are to flip several SF's while learning about opportunities for BRRRR including multi-family. I'm open to active & passive roles. I'm motivated to help other people, teach my kids new things and give back through the process. Super impressed with the BP site & community!

Welcome to BP. I would focus on one specific strategy starting off and be a master at it. If you want to get into multifamily investing, flipping houses can certainly provide cash flow to "move up" but most of the knowledge doesn't help you in commercial real estate.
