greetings from sunny Pinellas Co, FL
My investment story started with an unsuccessful search for a potential rental SFH in 2013. It took 3 years to get my first rental. Almost another 3 years for 2nd.
Money wasn’t the problem... It was more lack of free time, good REA and information on best way to invest.
Now I am in the game! My original plan to exhaust my mortgage credit line is replaced with a better way to invest - BRRRR is the way to go!
I am going to refinance my 2nd rental in next 5-6 months and start searching for next one. Any advice or contact is welcome.
As this journey is going to be a little bit lengthy one I decided to learn more about RE business and get licensed. My plan is to get in business part-time, learn the trade and have some fun. And save money of commissions wherever possible. Any suggestions on a good place to ‘park’ my license?
I am so grateful I came cross bigger pockets... not sure how it didn’t happen before!
Amazing resource, great community and support! I wished it was 6 years back but, as they say, ‘Never is too late’.
It is time to connect and learn. I am looking for guidance, connections, to be involved...
Keep in touch

If you're just going to hang a license and do a transaction or two a year, and you have the training to avoid legal issues, I'd just go to a 100% firm. There's a ton out there. Chuck Rut and Future Home are two of the bigger ones around. Philip at Dalton Wade does 79/transaction, 79/month.
If you want to get trained on how to sell and build a business, there's other companies that offer that. KW is 35/month with a commission split until capped, I'm not sure what the other big firms are offering right now.
