New member to bigger pockets
Hello Bigger Pockets community!
My name is Tom. I am a full time engineer in chicago south west suburbs (hinsdale, IL area) that is dipping his toes into the rental property world. 2 years ago i purchased a duplex, living in half renting out the other half. It came with tenants and they've been great.
I have recently been promoted to property manager for my partner's parent's property that they just purchased down the street from me. I am in need to find tenants and get things rolling by end of July. I've been looking around the internet, but does anyone have a favorite service/ checklist for screening? How about application lists?
Looking forward to long and successful endeavor in real estate with the goal to buy/hold/ retire!
