Newbie in Newark, NJ

Hey everyone. I wish I knew about this site sooner. My first property is a small multifamily rental. The investor who sold it to me kinda took advantage of me so long story short I'm now trying to sell before foreclosure.
I've been doing all the learning I can and I know that I have to be very very creative now. I want to focus mainly on multifamilies but won't rule out SFR. I'm thinking of starting my new investment life in the Newark/East Orange.
