Longtime listener, first time caller from Nashville, TN

Hello BP world! I've been reading this site for a while now and listening to podcast, watching the Youtube channel and such. So, I thought it was time to come out of the shadows and say howdy. Yes, I do have a southern drawl from here in Tennessee.

Anyway, a little about me. I was born and raised here in Tennessee. Moved around the state some and settled into the Nashville area. My current career is in IT at a fairly big law firm. Our office is right smack downtown so if any of you guys and gals visit the Broadway area, throw a wave.

REI has always fascinated me, especially the rental side. I'm currently house hacking my own home. I still have a ton to learn. The BRRRR method is definitely a major interest of mine, but I need to really learn more on the rehab side. Gonna use my current residence to experiment with that a little to learn costs and such.

My goal is to buy one property by the end of the year. From everything that I've read that is more than doable. I'm looking at possibly a turn key to start out. I know there are some dangers and that I am potential leaving some money on the table. I might change my mind as I get closer. Who knows. Regardless, it will happen by the end of the year.

Anyway, please say howdy. I promise, I'm friendly. And I'm looking forward to learning with all of you.
