Hello all! New member of Bigger Pockets from Birmingham UK.
My partner and I currently manage our duplex in Buffalo NY remotely and have done so for 3 years now.
looking to connect with experienced members to learn how best to grow and find ways to fund our growth as being a foreign investor proves to be quite difficult with regards to funding.
Also happy to network with you lovely folks in general.
Cheers. Good luck on your real estate journey
Just curious - can you elaborate on some of the difficulties as foreign investor?
@Alan Dunlap Thank you! The difficulties we face is UK companies will not lend for US purchases and US companies won't lend because we're not in the US.
The most common response from US lenders is we are not in the lending bates and our physics presence is not in the US so they will not lend....... frustrating.

Okay you may need to try private money or hard money for a couple of years while you build a profile
Maybe if you can talk to a commercial lender they can get past residency. However You may have to identify property wanted first before they will lend on it
@Alan Dunlap Thank you.
I will definitely look into those avenues for funding.
Thanks for your advice it's appreciated.
