Hello all!! My name is Kristen Shook. I am from Topeka, KS. If you haven't heard of it it's about an hour away from Kansas City, MO. I've been pondering real estate for awhile now and have finally began taking the steps to jump into my first house. I am currently 23, graduated from Washburn University with a BA in psychology and also studied leadership. I like to say I have a psychological mind with a business mindset. I've been living at home and saving my money to begin my venture, currently working at a federal halfway house and working with a local creative agency. I am looking at the student housing and house hacking nitches!! I have been looking at properties online around my local University, Washburn.

I look forward to developing relationships, friends, learning, and getting advice!!

Welcome to BiggerPockets!! Nice to meet you. I heard a good podcast today where the person use a FHA 203 to buy a 4-plex. Only 3.5 down and renovation cost included. That might be something of interest to you. Good luck.
