New member (self intro)
Hi there. My name is Pablo. I'm Spanish, based in Madrid. I actually have only done one "deal" so far (a standard long term rental in Madrid's center), 4 years ago, before ever knowing about biggerpockets or anything alike (my father always suggested investing in real estate...). I think I more or less broke even (rent covers expenses...), although I tied up all my "downpayment" money savings on that investment and don't have much left presently. I certainly would like to be able to chat and/or meet real estate investors here in Madrid/Spain in order to expand my horizons. I think and read a lot about real estate investing but always "solo"....with no one to challenge me or give a reality check. I listen now "religiously" to the real estate and buissness biggerpockets podcasts, but always wonder to what extent might some things apply here (in spain)...
So there, that's my self introduction to the forums (following dr Turner's orders on taking action...). The little grammarly tone detector gadget on the right says my post is coming out very much "formal".... I guess I can't escape my nature.
