Hello. I'm new to the forum and looking to meet some investors in the Phoenix area.

I heard about Bigger Pockets from cruising You-Tube looking for investing podcasts.

@Michael Chavez and @Account Closed there are several ways to connect with other investors, BP being a prime one. If you want to meet and learn from other folks IRL, BP has meetups and lists other investor gatherings. If you want a big picture view of individual investors in AZ, AZREIA holds its next monthly meeting on 12/9. First meeting is free. There are investors of every kind there and they have good educational events you can attend, as well as subgroup meetings on Buy & Hold and Fix & Flip, etc.

If you want to connect with the Valley's leading wholesalers, checkout PHXREIA (not related to AZREIA). These guys are the kingpins of pursuing off market properties and are surprisingly open about how they do it. Another good meetup is Phoenix Real Estate Disruptors run by Steve Trang. Free food and drinks plus networking with the Valley's leading wholesalers. Next meeting is in January. Steve also has an awesome podcast by the same name.

If you're back at YouTube University, check out Brent Daniels and his TTP approach to getting off market deals. On Instagram you can learn from Steve Trang, PacejMorby (he offers free ride-a-longs and a "Sunday Service" call-in show on IG), flip2freedom and therealmaxwell (Max Maxwell isn't local tho).

So many more resources out there to help you get your footing. Best of luck on your investing journey!

Melanie
