Hi Everyone, I just discovered Bigger Pockets a week back and have already spent hours on the site and watching videos on Youtube - big fan in a short time!
I have been working in Corporate America in sales & marketing for the last 15+ years and am looking to get out of the 8-5 grind along with building a good nest egg for my kid. I dipped my toes in the RE water a few years back with my first rental investment - this one resulted in decent positive cash flow (albeit not great) but one that as appreciated considerably. After a few years hiatus where I focused on my career, I am now ready to take the next step into the real estate world trying to invest in more rental properties with the BRRRR strategy. I'm based in Denver and I've started analyzing several different properties (mostly local, but exploring out of state as well). I am fairly comfortable with the analytics but having a hard time finding deals locally due to the expensive RE market. Currently I'm working towards buidling out my network of good contractors, investors and in the process of finding a reliable and honest agent to work with.
