New Member in the Lehigh Valley, PA Area

Good evening everyone, my name is Nicholas Hoffman and I am brand new to BiggerPockets, the forums, and quite frankly, real-estate investing all together. I wanted to introduce myself on the site. I have listened now to several podcasts and I felt I was ready to take my first step and post my first forum post! I am a 25 year old working professional in the Lehigh Valley, PA area. I have an undergraduate degree in supply chain management, several professional certifications in statists and Lean management and I am currently pursuing my MBA. 

I am very excited to learn and take action. I know I have so much to learn and I am excited to do so. I have initial interests in flips and single and multi-family rental properties. I'm looking to invest with low or no money down so want to learn more about finding and using private money and other creative financing options. I have a 3 month goal to start attending open houses and get my boots on the ground within my area with the year goal of having my first investment property by year end 2020. I am very happy to be here and hoping to connect with other like minded individuals. Any and all advice is welcome!

Hello Nick! Welcome!  Great job jumping right in with a post.  I've driven many roads in the Lehigh Valley listening to dozens of the BiggerPockets podcasts.  My advice would be to continue to listen to them.  Each one is like a gift of knowledge.  Even though I am also new to real estate investing, just this morning, I found myself giving information to a friend who has been investing in real estate much longer than I have been.  The information (1031 exchange), which I learned from the podcasts of course, was new to the friend.  He was grateful to learn about it and began researching the topic immediately.  Thanks to what I am learning from BiggerPockets, I was able to help him.  So, keep listening and spread the word about BiggerPockets (which I did with him).  By the way you reached out already, it seems that you'll be successful with networking.  Keep that up, too.  Good luck!
