Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking the forums and listening to the podcast for a while and I feel like its finally time to jump in.

I work in Film and TV Production and travel pretty much full time for work both in the US and around the world. Los Angeles is my home base when I'm not traveling.

I feel like I'm finally getting to a place to begin seriously working toward my first deal. My focus is primarily on getting a Single Family Residence to buy and hold in an out of state market that makes sense. I'm also opening to something a little closer to LA such as the Joshua Tree / 29 Palms Area.

I clearly have a lot to learn and I'm excited to join the community and get involved with any kind of networking, advice, meetups, etc that I can!

@Aaron Moskal @Allen Tracy @Jackie Martinez Hi fellow Film/TV pros!  I was an Assistant Director for ~10+ years and learned to build my rental portfolio while on set (mine is vacation rentals, most in the Smokies in Tennessee).  Not long ago I found myself pretty burned out by the Biz, but my VR portfolio is creating enough income for me to live on, so I've taken a step back and am focused on real estate now - I've been enjoying skipping the 4am wake-ups!

I know first hand how demanding and time-consuming those careers are, so I just want to say it is 100% doable to successfully invest out of state while still killing it in Hollywood.  Best of luck to you all!
