Hello from Catskills, New York!

Avid podcast listener, but first time dipping my toes into the website and now this forum! My limited journey in real estate has now led me to BP.

A bit about my journey so far - I was finally able to purchase my first property in Brooklyn, NY several years ago. It was my primary residence but I've subsequently rented it out. I also purchased a small house in the Catskills towards to the end of 2018. The house required some major TLC but finally got all that out the way. With the reno now complete, I'm in the process of refinancing the house.

With my savings and the refinance, I'm now ready to seriously pursue my passive income goals. My goal is to have 10 doors by the end of 2020, and hopefully 75 doors by the end of 3 years. Initially my focus will be MFH with 2-4 units and moving up in unit size hopefully by the end of the 2nd year.

I'm busy trying to figure out where to invest. Out-of-state investing seems to be my preference and I am in full-on research mode! Locations that I've been focusing on are Detroit, Louisville, Greenville/Spartanburg, Kalamazoo and Savannah.

I'm cautiously excited (and nervous) for what lies ahead. Looking forward to absorb and connect as much as possible (or even provide advice through my limited real estate transactions)!
