FHA Loans for Small Multifamily Properties
Hey Bigger Pockets, I'm looking at getting my first investment property this year and I'm hoping to acquire a small multifamily like a duplex or triplex. I was expecting to need a 20% down payment since it would be an investment property, but I've heard of people qualifying for FHA loans at 3.5% down on properties up to a fourplex. Has anyone had experience with this or know if it's possible to get a loan for a multifamily with an FHA loan? Thanks!
