New Member - Triangle Area, Raleigh, NC
Hi Everyone! My name is Asia King and I'm a newbie from Raleigh, NC. Originally from Lynchburg, VA, I've made a home for myself in the triangle area and am looking to invest in real estate as a way to break from conventional models of what "purchasing a property" should look like.
As I begin, I’m extremely fascinated with multi family units and house hacking. I’m looking at purchasing my first property within the next twelve months.
I’m excited to be on this forum to learn from all of you, build upon what I have been taking away from the podcast and eventually be able to give my own insights based on my experiences.

Hi @Asia King! I am a Realtor but trying to get into investing myself in the Triangle. I recently attended the InvestHER meetup for women and it was an amazing group. I think the plan is for them to meet once a month, the 3rd Monday of every month. https://www.meetup.com/The-Real-Estate-InvestHER-Meetup-Raleigh-NC/ One thing I am finding is that the investing community is really helpful and open to sharing.
