Newbie investor looking to get started

Hello BP,

My name is Henry I'm 29, I'm a new member that has been lurking the BP forums for about a year now, and BP real estate podcast listener for a bit over a year.I have lived in Philadelphia and Delaware county my whole life; currently living in South Philly in the Point Breeze area.

I plan on getting my first real estate purchase/investment done this year. I feel ready to get started on contacting a lender to get pre approved for a mortgage, and looking for an investor friendly real estate agent.

I'm hoping to find a multifamily to buy as a first time home and investment property. So I look forward to making some connections soon, hope to hear from anyone that's willing to reach out. thanks all :)

@Henry Vargas Welcome!! I was a lurker for a year too, lol. I finally pulled the trigger in 2018 (despite having plenty of fears and not knowing everything). I bought a SFH short term rental and then last years I sold my house to buy a 4 plex (I live in one of the units). Its been great, lots of practice dealing with tenants, maintenance calls, etc. Best of luck!
